Great local bar. 1/2 price drinks everyday 3-6 Friendly staff as long as you are not a bad customer

One of America's best college bars. It's actually improved from the days when Playboy magazine recognized it as one of the nation's best college bars. The current owners realize what a gem they have on their hands and it shows.

I don't drink much or often anymore (or at least not now), let alone in public but If I do, The Field House is my preferred bar. Although The Field House is the only bar I've been to (aside from a random bar in Leavenworth I ran to during a nearby Halloween party for a shot of Crown), there's a reason I'm not out searching for other bars to try. The atmosphere is warm and the staff is friendly making for a bar that appeals to multiple demographics. "Hey man, what does the demographics that this bar appeals to mean for me?" You may ask. Well, it means you don't know who you're gonna meet! For me, your average loner, this means when I sit up at the bar, there's a solid chance I'll have an interesting conversation with a rando. I gotta go get this bird's nest cut off my head so I'mma wrap it up. If you're on the fence about whether or not you should check out The Field House, You should definitely check it out! TL;DR: Good Vibes, Good staff, Good drinks, Good times. PS. I actually just remembered one time where I ran in at like 1:30pm to pee. The men's restroom was actually really clean. And it was the end of the night so like, brownie points.

Great hole in the wall to go for a drink. Really fun place. Has a pool table and some dart boards. Also has a touch tunes juke box you can operate with your phone. Have a lot of fun hanging out here. Great staff everyone’s really laid back. Nick is an awesome bartender and cool to hang out with.

The price is right. If you go on a Monday you can get a couple pitchers for less than $10. They play the games and fights; have an outdoor patio; and a pool table. If you have a chance to go to their VIP night events every year its awesome!! Literally the BEST steak and cheesy potatoes I've ever had!

Small bar, no food, but that's not why I'd go to certain bars and this is one of them. Bar tender was friendly / funny. Laid back atmosphere with plenty of Shocker memorabilia. Drinks aren't expensive and well made. 1 pool table😊

My favorite in Wichita. Google wants an update for my review. Field House is still my favorite. Leslie, John, and their staff make this wonderful place a second home to so many. Friends, family, and all those passing through are all just a conversation away from meeting new and interesting people in a down to earth, no nonsense setting where trivia, sports, and even dog shows might be on the TVs at any given point. Happy hour 3 to 6 and daily specials to boot.

It's a college bar, enough should be said there. It doesn't look the prettiest but the vibe and atmosphere is really fun if you go with a good group of friends. The music is fun to sing along with, not really dancing unless it's in your seat and laughing with those around you. Would 100% recommend though.

Great locals and college bar it being across the street from WSU. Always amazing bar staff and fun and friendly environment.
